Job Position: Heavy Equipment Mechanic

Location: Statesville, Nc 28687

Pay Rate: DOE/hr

Shift: 1st shift

Join our dynamic team at a local company in Statesville, NC, where we are currently seeking a skilled Heavy Equipment Mechanic to fill immediate 1st shift opening.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the maintenance and repair of construction and heavy equipment, including trucks, cranes, and bulldozers.

  • Inspecting heavy equipment for proper performance and detect faults and malfunctions.

  • Dismantling faulty equipment parts and installing new or fixed parts.

  • Keeping detailed records of serviced machines and reporting progress and issues to management.

  • Collaborating with other mechanics and management to maintain machinery schedules and ensure compliance with all safety regulations

  • Experience and strong mechanically inclined background required.

Shift/Hours:

  • Monday - Friday, 1st shift, 7am 5pm.

  • Some weekends/overtime may be required.

Compensation:

  • Competitive pay depends on experience. Actual pay will be commensurate with the candidate's experience and expertise.

Employment Type:

  • This is a Temp to Perm position, offering a potential long-term opportunity for the right candidate.
