Accounting Clerk
Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounting Assistant to support our accounting department with daily bookkeeping and clerical tasks. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, accuracy in data entry, and the ability to work independently while maintaining confidentiality.
Responsibilities:
Assist with bank reconciliations and monthly/quarterly financial statements.
Support Accounts Receivable: invoicing, credit/debit memos, posting payments, preparing reports, collections, and new customer setup.
Support Accounts Payable: coding invoices, data entry, research, and weekly disbursements.
Process RGAs, credits, and maintain accurate logs.
Provide support during audits and quarterly physical inventory.
Perform filing, data entry, and special projects as needed.
Qualifications:
Bachelor s degree in Accounting or related field, or 5+ years of relevant experience.
Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Word, and Power Flex/Global Shop.
Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to meet deadlines.
