Job Position: Machine Operator
Location: CHARLOTTE, NC 28217
Pay Rate: $18.00/hr
Shift: 1st (M-TH 7: 00AM-5: 30PM)
Accurate Staffing is currently seeking Press Operators who will be responsible for performing a diverse range of press brake operations, typically on steel plate, stainless steel, or aluminum materials. The Press Operators will select general-purpose and multi-purpose press brake dies, including tubes/tools that are either in multiple or series. They will also correctly set up the dies, stops, and adjust the ram according to the thickness of the plate. To ensure conformity and acceptability, they will use instruments such as a square, scale, or other tools to check the work against templates or drawings. Furthermore, the Press Operators will perform necessary maintenance and ensure that the maintenance log is always up-to-date.

Job Description:
Follow all Company procedures.
Strict adherence to confidentiality agreement.
Due to potential danger of press brake, constantly keeping safety as number one focus. This means using all safety devices and being alert and well rested while operating press brake.
Operate various fabrication machinery as directed once trained.
Ensures completed parts delivered to proper areas in Fabrication.
Ensures completed parts are de-burred and labeled.
Quality control of parts being produced by press brake.
Minimal quantity of rejects with goal of zero rejects.
Always look for better ways to operate department and making suggestions to Supervisor in writing.
Completing assignment sheets each week. Working knowledge of programming press brakes required.
Machine maintenance as required. Positive attitude toward job, personnel, and Company to be always displayed.
Close attention to detail, organizational skills and regular work hours are required for this position. Tardy and absences for this position must be kept to absolute minimum with goal of winning Perfect Attendance Award each year.
Special projects and other duties as assigned.
